Stand Up Paddleboard Lessons (SUP)

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) is a fairly recent sport in the UK, although based on the skills of the 'Hawaiian Beachboys' of the 1920s. A large board is paddled with a single paddle and is a great form of exercise that can be practiced anywhere there is a stretch of water; Surf, open sea, lakes, rivers and harbours.

We have been importing Pohaku and C4 carbon fibre paddles since 2006, which makes us one of the first companies in the country to do it (when we first started there wasn't even a shaper making boards, so we tried using big old windsurf boards - it didn't work too well, but we had a lot of fun trying!). Now the sport is one of the fastest growing watersports in the World and famously has a great celebrity following.

We are also able to hire kit to those who can demonstrate SUP experience, at £35 a day for board and paddle. Safety is always our top priority and SUP, with big heavy boards, has the potential for causing a lot of damage. We only use Red Paddle Co Inflatable Stand Up Paddleboards and only hire out on small days, setting strict terms of hire.
